After received the message so I set my mind that I want to go to Mukah for Pesta Kaul 2006 … ALONE :P.

14042006 This is at Serian at 0715 on 15 APril 2006. Milopeng time. See the road is wet and the sun is still hiding behind the hills at Serian

So this is at Sri Aman’s gate near Temudok at 0830. I stopped for a while for adjusting my jacket and clips around my shoulder which hits my helmet at high speed driving. It is very cold actually and the weather is excellent :)

This is Betong’s Petronas fuel station. I arrived here by 0930. As usual I will never miss buying wafer icecream whenever I came here. Only RM0.70. I drive for Sarikei after a 15-minutes-stop here.

This is somewhere near Sebangkoi Recreational Park, Sarikei. Now it is near 1050 and the weather is cloudy so I expect it’ll be raining somewhere in Sibu soon. What’s so exciting here is the winding roads and steep hill sides. Whoa … the road really had excellent grips.

This is Sarikei’s waterfront. See the express boats. They are one of the main transportation here. I stopped for about 30 minutes here. The day is getting hotter and hotter, eventhough it is cloudy.

By 1215 I reached Sibu through Lanang roads. Today is Friday and the roads are clear because the Muslims (including me should go for Friday prayer). However I am a musafir. I didn’t go. I relaxed a few minutes at Dataran and spend half an hour at Hock Hing’s motor service center, a bigbike workshop. I met Chris and had a few chats with him about bikes. Really friendly fellow.

A lot of bikes. Goldwings, CBR’s, which are under repair. This place is new the main road, thus easy to see and stop by.

At 1300, I sprint for my destination, Mukah.

I arrived at Mukah by 1500. Actually, Mukah’s coastal road is still in bad condition. My rear brake malfunctions because the brake lining was gone near oil palm’s estate near Selangau’s road and my exhaust clip holder was broken because of uneven road (about 40 km). dAMN!!! because of the rear brake I accidenttally fell near Pehin’s Bridge while negotiating a small junction there where the road surface was sandy and uneven. So I was busy to fix my Ninja, not for Pesta Kaul. Nonetheless it was a golden experience, and still I am happy that nothing really bad was happened. :)

Happy to see my dad’s eye, my mom’s tear seeing me back. My brother, Shahril and his wife was happy too, my sister, Rozana and her hubby, Aiee was suprised. Hahahahaha not to mention Kamil. Well not to happy seeing Nadzim with his fiance … macam biasa jak ehss…

Shioooooooohhh … that was really cool. I do not feel so tired at all. I wanna ride like this again or a big convoy? Hahaha that’s all for now … I’ll write more… :)

P/S: To Lyn, sorry I didn’t stop to see you in Sibu. Actually I want to but I can’t wait to rush back to Mukah. If you want to follow, it could be dangerous because I drove quite fast (120 ~ 180km/j) and the rear brake failed and I suspect the rear bearings also need to be replaced and could not carry passenger. Thank you very much for the camera phone so that I could took some nice pictures. When I take the shots, I will never forget about you.
